Autumn Afternoon Tea & Flower Garden Tour
We are toasting the season with beautiful produce harvested fresh from the garden for our Autumn Afternoon Tea.
Join us for a guided walk around the gardens to see the abundance of fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers that have inspired and flavoured our first Afteroon Tea of the Autumn/Winter Season.
Our Chefs are toasting apples and spices to make turnovers and roasting pumpkins to whip into cheescakes. Wexford honey is drizzled over local O'Neills ham to fill freshly baked breads for finger sandwiches bursting with flavour.
Afternoon Tea will be served at 1pm and will include a walk through the Gardens with Niamh to explore the best the season has to offer at 2:30pm for anyone who would like to learn more about the produce used and the flowers in season at Horetown.
Please note: Every item on our afternoon tea is freshly made in our kitchens from scratch. This is a set menu and while we can remove items and increase quantities of other items (ie. remove meat sandwich and increase cheese sandwiches) alternatives dishes cannot be supplied. Please advise if you require a vegetarian or coeliac option as these can be accommodated when notified at time of booking only.
Drawing Room Afternoon Tea
The elegant and welcoming surroundings of Horetown House lends itself to relaxing over our delicious Afternoon Tea. Sit back and be pampered with crisp white linen, bone china and gleaming silverware in the surroundings of the Drawing Room, Conservatory or in our Gardens. What is better than a delicious Scone and Tea and sumptuous treats while relaxing in the gardens in the afternoon.

Afternoon tea always includes:
Delicious seasonal produce from our own gardens and local artisan producers.
Freshly baked scones, beautiful curds and preserves, delicate finger sandwiches and delicious sweet treats. We use Fairchain Moyee Coffee and a selection of teas from around the world as well as from our own garden.

Private Afternoon Tea Party
Why not organise an elegant event to celebrate that big birthday or milestone in your life. We welcome private groups for Afternoon Tea throughout the year by arrangement.
If you would like to host a private tea party please contact us for available dates and we can discuss menu options and decor to compliment the special occasion. Prices start at €850 for up to 20 guests for 2 hours private use of our Drawing rooms.
